As a regulated Canadian immigration consultant, Vianey provides consulting, file review, advice, and representation. According to her, this profession requires a combination of technical and interpersonal skills. It is also important to have character traits that promote confidence, competence, and efficiency in the work.
Regardless of the problem or the work context, it is professional ethics and honesty that make the difference. «If we like to do good, we do what we like» she likes to say.
Empathetic, respectful, and culturally sensitive, Vianey listens carefully to people, tries to understand their experiences and needs to establish a relationship of trust with them.
Immigration processes often involve complex procedures, deadlines, and specific requirements. Being always organized and attentive to the smallest details helps him to effectively manage his clients’ files and avoid costly mistakes.
Vianey chose to study law because she considers that this subject coincides with her ideals and principles of justice and equality. Today, it is a way to realize its aspirations to promote social justice, protect the rights of the most vulnerable and actively participate in the construction of a more equitable society.
For 11 years, Vianey worked at the Instituto Nacional de Migracion in Mexico, the equivalent of IRCC. She has held various positions there, most recently as Assistant Director at the provincial level. This is where she fell in love with immigration. This passion for immigration led her to explore new horizons. In 2011, she decided to settle with her husband in Quebec. Thanks to her professional experience and training, she had the privilege of working at the Consulate General of Mexico in Montreal for 6 years as a visa officer for foreigners.
Her own journey as an immigrant helped her understand the challenges and joys that this experience brings. Her desire to become an immigration consultant is rooted in her belief that every individual deserves a fair chance to fulfill her dreams, no matter where she comes from. As an immigration consultant, her goal is to simplify this process for other immigrants, while offering them solid support throughout this adventure.
This travelling soul enjoys discovering different places and cultures. She takes advantage of her free time to spend time with her family. Finally, cooking is for her the best way to express and share her creativity with others.
Her motto?
“If you can dream it, you can do it.”
