As the firm’s intake officer, Mariangels Lombano coordinates the initial consultations for all new clients. She serves as WMR’s first point of contact and plays a central role in welcoming clients, guiding them through the first steps of their file, and ensuring that matters are properly framed from the outset.
In this capacity, Mariangels communicates with clients in French, English, and Spanish to gather the key information required to open files and to relay relevant elements to the legal team. Her work helps establish a clear and well-structured foundation, enabling lawyers and professionals to intervene efficiently from the very beginning.
A fundamental part of her role involves supporting individuals who may be under stress or facing significant personal or professional challenges, whether related to immigration, litigation, or sensitive business matters. Originally from Venezuela, Mariangels has herself gone through the immigration process to Canada. This personal experience informs her understanding of the concerns, uncertainties, and expectations often expressed by clients.
