MARIA ACEVES

PARALEGAL ASSISTANT

With a good team spirit, Maria Aceves, legal assistant, lends a hand to lawyers and consultants throughout immigration procedures.

Organized and autonomous, it manages, administers and takes care of the preparation of administrative files for all types of requests: work and study permits, citizenship, sponsorship, visitor files, super visas, restoration of status, or even permanent residence .

Maria explains that she chose this profession to help immigrants realize their life plans. In the past, she experienced the migration process herself with the assistance of someone. Through this experience, she developed the desire to understand in depth the process of immigration. Today she makes her skills, her sense of analysis and her active listening available to serve others.

More than ever, she knows the importance of managing immigration files. She is aware of the concerns that immigrants may feel regarding the outcome of their settlement process in Canada. For Maria, it is therefore essential that clients are supported by professional, honest and caring people.

Empathetic, Maria’s greatest satisfaction is serving people. A good listener, she has good interpersonal skills and is particularly fond of human relations. She places great importance on emotional health.

Outside of her work time, Maria enjoys reading, watching films, meditating and doing yoga or Qi Gong.
